Patrons' Club

The Patrons’ Club plays a significant role in ensuring we retain  Conservative Members of Parliament and maintain our strong position locally with respect to our Council seats.  It was founded to provide a link for people who have many commitments and little time to be actively involved in Constituency organisation, but who, nevertheless, wish to support the Conservative Party. The membership is limited to 50 with an annual subscription of £350 for a joint membership - £250 for single membership.

It is now the policy of the Club to hold three events a year which are free to members and at which senior politicians or ‘interesting characters’ are invited as guest speakers. Two of these events are receptions/suppers at members’ homes (held in mid-February and mid-October) and the third event is an Annual Dinner in London on the first Tuesday of June. It has become a regular practice now to hold an extra event during the year, a luncheon in London - ‘Visit the Clubs’ on the last Tuesday of November.

The Chairman of the Patrons’ Club is Michael Savage (01604 755260) – he would be delighted to talk to members who may be interested in becoming a Patron.
